The cornerstone for the modern office building Imagine, located on the corner of Piłsudskiego and Śmigłego-Rydza streets in Łódź, is officially laid. Avestus Real Estate, the investor of project, is planning to deliver the commercial space to tenants in Q3 2019.
On 17 May 2018, the founding papers of the Imagine office complex were ceremonially signed. Hanna Zdanowska – Mayor of Łódź, Roger Dunlop, CEO and Mariusz Frąckiewicz, Director Poland at Avestus Real Estate, symbolically set the cornerstone for the first Avestus Real Estate office building project in Łódź.
The documents were also signed by Marek Kowalik, Director of the Southern Region, representing the investment contractor Eiffage Polska Budownictwo S.A., Maciej Borkowski, Branch Director Kraków at GOLDBECK Sp. z o.o., the company responsible for implementing the above ground parking garage project, as well as Wojciech Miecznikowski from BE DDJM Biuro Architektoniczne, the studio in charge of the architectural design of the complex.
Hanna Zdanowska, Mayor of Łódź , said: “We are happy to see the new office investment in Łódź. It is even more satisfying to think that this modern, employee- and resident-friendly building will go up in a part of the city which has suffered a lot of neglect. Avestus’ decision to purchase from the city a plot located on the Marshals’ Corner, the corner of two streets named after marshals, is proof that the areas situated along the W-Z Route are attractive for business, and that with Imagine and the surrounding office investments another office hub, similar to the New Centre of Łódź, is being created here step by step. Once again, my congratulations to the company, and I hope to see the investment completed very soon.”
Imagine is a modern office complex offering 14,800 sqm. of office space and 2,400 sqm. of space dedicated to retail, as well as an above-ground parking garage with 356 parking spaces and 49 double bicycle racks.

It is worth noting that this investment is exceptional in many ways. First of all, the Imagine complex is located in the Łódź Special Economic Zone, which translates into visible and attractive benefits for prospective tenants. The construction schedule for the entire Imagine complex is also unusual. Imagine will be built in just over a year, and will be available for tenants as soon as in Q3 2019.”
The modern, A-Class office complex will consist of three buildings. Two of them (six-storey) will offer a total of 17,200 sqm. of commercial space, while the third one will house an above ground parking garage. Through the architectural solutions used, Imagine will also create a new urban space, which will be available to all residents of Łódź.
The facility will have a BREEAM Excellent certificate. The designer of the office building was the studio DDJM Biuro Architektoniczne. The exclusive leasing agent is Colliers International.
The construction works within the investment began in March this year. The entire complex will be commissioned for use in Q3 2019.
