Asseco Poland SA, one of the European leaders in the IT sector, has joined the group of tenants of Imagine, an office complex under construction at the intersection of Piłsudskiego and Śmigłego-Rydza Avenues in Łódź. The company’s offices will be located in Building A, occupying 1730 sq m of space.
Asseco Poland is an IT company at the helm of the international Asseco Group. The company is the largest provider of modern IT solutions in Central and Eastern Europe, and thus the largest Polish software producer listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. The clients of Asseco Poland are 311 companies operating in the finance sector, 74 in telco and utilities, as well as 172 public institutions.
‘The new Asseco office is being constructed with the comfort of our employees in mind. The building where it is located is equipped with a car park and changing rooms for cyclists, a restaurant, a café and shops. In the space belonging to Asseco will also be prepared chillout zones. Following the latest market trends, we have decided to take a new approach to the organization of workspace. We are moving away from the office layout consisting of separate rooms in favour of a modern and ergonomic open space, combining the advantages of the office layout and open space. Our office will be equipped with modern and ergonomic furniture and separate rooms where employees can make phone calls and perform tasks requiring greater concentration, as well as conduct meetings in small groups. We hope that our teams will enjoy the new space,’ said Jacek Tomkiewicz, Director of the Administration Department at Asseco Poland.
Asseco Poland has been present in Łódź for several years now. The company will appear at the Imagine office complex owing to the relocation of its regional headquarters in the city. In the facility developed by Avestus Real Estate, the tenant will occupy 1730 sq m of the area of Building A, and its offices will be located on the first floor. The transaction on the part of Avestus Real Estate was supervised by Marta Wybrańska, Leasing Director, and the tenant was advised by Colliers International.
‘We are extremely pleased that Imagine meets the high requirements of Asseco, a leading IT company and a leader in its field in Poland, with a strong position in international markets. Our project in Łódź is a high-class office building, designed for demanding clients, aware of modern office standards, both in terms of design and equipment. We are all the more satisfied because since the very beginning our assumption has been to deliver an office building in Łódź dedicated to modern and developing businesses, as well as companies operating in the IT, consulting, energy and new technologies sectors,’ commented Mariusz Frąckiewicz, Director Poland at Avestus Real Estate.
‘The area around the “Marszałków” intersection, as the junction of Piłsudskiego and Śmigłego-Rydza Avenues is called, is becoming one of the most important business “hubs” in Łódź. Asseco’s decision proves the attractiveness of this region. At the same time, the city centre is moving slightly to the east,’ added Marcin Włodarczyk, Regional Director at Colliers-International in Łódź.
Imagine’s tenants also include New Work Offices, a company which will arrange office space in both buildings of the complex for corporate clients and serviced offices for small companies. Bluerank, a dynamically developing Łódź-based technology company, has also decided to lease space at Imagine. The bilingual Kids&Co. kindergarten and nursery, as well as Olimp restaurant have joined Imagine tenants too. Both companies will develop the retail and service area of Imagine, located on the ground floor of Building B. The complex will also house a Żabka shop and the Z Pieca Rodem premises, where you will be able to buy bread baked on the spot and have a cup of coffee.
As part of the Imagine project, a state-of-the-art Class A office complex is being built, consisting of three buildings. Two of them (six-storey facilities) will offer a total of 17,200 sq m of commercial space: 14,800 sq m of office space and 2,400 sq m of retail and service space. The third one will house an overground garage offering 356 parking spaces and 49 double bicycle racks. In the public passage between the two buildings of the complex there will be a sculpture to be designed by a student or graduate of the Faculty of Sculpture and Interactive Actions of the Strzemiński Academy of Art Łódź. The sculpture design will be selected in a competition organized jointly by Avestus Real Estate and the Academy of Art Łódź.
The Imagine office building was designed by the architecture studio DDJM Biuro Architektoniczne. The construction works on the investment started in March 2018. In the last days the assembly of the elevation of office buildings has been completed, and now intensive finishing works and works related to the development of the area around the buildings are in progress. The complex is scheduled to be delivered in Autumn 2019.
